Re: HOT! FIRE SALE BMC V2T, V2S, and V3 Geared Hub Motors!!!

What would the top speed be for the V2S as well as the V3 mounted in a 16" wheel? I plan to make a pusher trailer for a long tour and want as much speed as possible, but want a reliable hill climber as well. It must be as bomb proof as I can get but have reasonable speed.

Could you build a BMC V2T into a 16" wheel so I can make a pusher trailer? If so, how much? PM me and let me know please.

Would this charger work? At only 2amps it seems like the charging would be on the long side.

12v battery and charger for x-country trip

Hi everyone, I'm new to this Lipo and LiFePO4 stuff and could use a little help. I'm planning a crosscountry trip using a velomobile and would like a battery that can power my accessories. There will be times when I will not be able to recharge for 2-3 days and the charging source will be 120v. The ...

What would be the top speed of the 20" front using 48V and the stock 15A controller? How about with the 20A controller?
Thanks,

Re: Ping battery problem - need help

Make sure all of your BMS and other connections are tight. Give the battery a full charge then post the individual cell voltages.I had a similar problem with a split 48V20Ah pack and it was all the result of a bad BMS causing one cell to always be undercharged. It eventually caused the low voltage c...

Re: Stranded by ping again-again-AGAIN

I also have a Ping 48V20Ah split pack, which had a bad BMS from the start. I just soldered the wires onto my new BMS (from Ping) tonight. Ping sent an individual cell charger along with the BMS, and being a newbie to this, I'm wondering how to hook it up. Any help would be appreciated, thanks,

I checked all connections mutiple times, everything is tight. Ping responded promptly and is sending me a new BMS as well as a single cell charger to balance the cells. Great customer service. Thanks to all who responded,

BMS LED stays lit

HELP. I have a Ping 48V20Ah LiFePO4,which I had split into two batteries by Ping so I could mount them on each side of my bike. The battery is about 4 months old. For the first 4-5 charges the 8th LED would not come on. Finally on the 6th charge it came on but has never gone off. It stays lit all of...

I don't think a temp cut-off would be good at 30mph, maybe it should just automatically dim down some.

I don't know much, I'm new to this stuff, but if they were never charged possibly they have dropped below a recoverable voltage with a year of sitting.
