The rear hubs are homemade, I used a 3 1/2" hub from an old 10 speed as a template to drill the spoke holes on a drill press. The trike weighs around 70 lbs with the cargo box, the hub motor in the front wheel will get an unassisted speed of around 30 kph, I maintain 35 with pedals and use the electrics as a start assist and hill climbing assist. This is a homebuilt, 500 watt 36 volt front wheel and 12 speed bike gears. I have 3 of them now, speed is up to 70 kph but can easily maintain 35
