Re: Nuvinci N360 hub

What gets me the most is that this model is not user-serviceable. You don't know if/when it will go, and, once it does, it has to go back to the manufacturer because 'they know best'.

Where do you mount the carry-on bag on your Paratrooper? Pictures please!
You're looking at it in my previous post.

Then went to a SATORI-UP2. It is a great product!
But it's not an extender. It's adjustable, but it doesn't do the same thing as that other one.

Re: Frame bag for a 36V 15Ah Ping battery

So ,one year later. Are you still happy with the hpc bag for your paratrooper? Oh yeah, it's a solid bag; it also has an extra pocket on a side for various things to be stored. But since I've been mostly commuting, the bag wouldn't really work since it's just too big for a comfortable ride to and f...

Re: Reasonably priced frame bag for batteries?

Prices are outrageous? ?? Huh? It's a high quality battery bag for a not so common bike and you think the price is outrageous? I think it is outrageous that you haven't produced a cheaper one made of even higher quality instead of complaining here! Maybe people can't make one themselves due to logi...

Re: ES Downtime Scheduled, Deferred till next week

I'm sending this message to let you all know that Neptronix and gammaray have been hard at work preparing for endless-sphere to be hosted by Amazon Web Services rather than the current server provider that we have been using for the past 4 years. They are just changing platforms. I was under impres...

Re: MXUS 3000W motor $250 shipped

Speed is limited by back EMF. When the RPM reaches a point where the voltage generated by the motor equals your battery voltage, you’re done. The back EMF is proportional to the number of turns. So, for a given RPM, if a 3 turn motor develops 20 V, a 6 turn motor will develop 40 V. Conversely, the ...

Re: Paratrooper Pro on MAC 1000W

Was There anything less good with the Mac? The motor itself is great. But as you gain more knowledge of motors, their specs, what they're best suited for, battery chemistry and configurations, you inevitably discover and make new things. I originally thought that I need the fastest - 6T - wound. Ac...

You're looking at two completely different bikes and drive philosophies - one is a hub, another is a mid-drive. One has a 2KW battery, another - 400Wh.

I never tried a mid drive motor so I cant say much and I also don't know how much that bike cost you new, but I can honestly say I seen top of the line mid drive motors for not very much at all. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Electric-bike-Mid-Drive-8fun-48V-750W-BBS02-New-16-Mos-Ver-1400-W-max-output-/27...
