Re: Bafang 1000w v Bosch and Yamaha

The new Bosch cx (75nm) climbs better than the yamaha at any cadence.Very powerful. The comparison must have been between bosch performance(60nm) vs yamaha (70nm) The article is certainly with 2016 Xduro and Sduro models, so a CX motor with 75nm of torque. The pictures are very clear, it's the new m...

Re: Bafang 1000w v Bosch and Yamaha

The Specialized motor in the Turbo Levo series looks to be impressive as well. 550W and 90nM of torque, vs 60nM in the original Bosch, and 75nM in the newer CX models. I have a BBS02 750W that I like, and the power is great, and it's smooth, but I don't find the bike fun to ride. I want the seamless...

Re: Announcement: New Bafang 1000w, 90-110mm BB mid drive co

eRad is a relabeled BBS0x from Lectric Cycles. Empowered is a reseller for LC products, or perhaps in business with LC. LC has distributors and shops selling their eRad. The have introduced the 100MM kit with a Gearsensor connection to the controller. I looked into a eRad purchase, but I though the...

Re: Announcement: New Bafang 1000w, 90-110mm BB mid drive co

Just noticed that the new BBS "XL100" is being offered by Alcedo Italia. Seems to be about a 300 Euro premium for the wide version. Interesting. It looks to me that it's a BBS02 with a modified axle by Alcedo or someone else, not a new system by Bafang. I asked Paul at EM3EV about the 100mm kit rum...

Re: New Bafang Crank- DRives

Thanks for the information Mike. Is there a link for anyone to download the different versions of software? I have a C965 with a four directional button and center power button. I actually prefer the large plus and minus buttons on the top bottom and would like to have that by my left thumb for quic...

Re: New Bafang Crank- DRives

Guys I have a 965 Display (not the 965A) and the manual states that I can change the battry type in the menu. "UbE means user define voltage" But how do I define it? Is it only through programming it doesn't seem possible to change it via display. 8.11Battery parameter : Get into parameter setting ...

Re: New Bafang Crank- DRives

You can use BBS0x brake sensors with your existing brake levers. I have a set, but you really only need one. Thanks! I'd seen these before I got my motor, but figured I'd evaluate the Bafang levers with builtin switches first. It appears there are (2) different brake sensors that work inline with o...

Re: New Bafang Crank- DRives

I just received my BBS02 kit from em3ev.com last night, and haven't spent much time with it but I need to quickly sort the handlebar issues, as it appears I need to order some new ones, and perhaps brake levers. I have a standard drop roadbike handlebar today (wide), 25.4mm clamp and 23.8mm grip I b...
