Re: How can i control this 15kw motor

Yes you can control this motor by SEVCON, but you will need to find by experiments several internal parameters of your motor.

Re: Sevcon Self Characterisation Wizard

Controller connect to computer via IXXAT USB to CAN cable. If I push "Connect" button without IXXAT cable the program show message: "No suitable interfaces connected" When IXXAT cable connect the program show message: "Access is denied" Exception occurred: Message: Access is denied Type: Ixxat.Vci3....

Sevcon Self Characterisation Wizard

I want to tune sevcon gen 4 size 4 controller to use with little induction motor. I built experimental platform for it. Testing platform.JPG So connection between dvt through ixxat cable works good. Also I have SCWizard but this program don't want connecting to controller. SCWizard.JPG Do anybody us...

Re: Alight sin/cos encoder of motenergy motor with SEVCON

Encoder angle from voltage vectors During forward rotation, points without field weakening must locates on the Ud axis or a little to the left of it. When the field weakening starts, points begin moving further to the left. So a properly configured encoder will prevent voltage in quadrant 1! Ud Uq ...

Alight sin/cos encoder of motenergy motor with SEVCON

I try to make instruction “How to alight sin/cos encoder of motenergy motor with of without SEVCON”. Information collected from different sources. Guys, who have deal with it, please confirm this information or correct it. At the picture below you can see encoder location inside of the ME1302 motor....

Re: Sevcon Gen4 with M-1304 Motor

According datashit ME-1304 has phase inductance 0.066mH and ME-1302 has phase inductance 0.14mH. So then we give the same voltage to each one thay must produce different torque, proportional to different inductance (both motors have same magnets in rotor). If we don't give load to the motors, the mo...

Re: Sevcon Gen4 with M-1304 Motor

I have several dcf files for ME1302 motor with sevcon gen 4 size 2,4,6 controllers for 48, 80, 100 volts. Also I have the IXXAT USB to CAN cable and the DVT software. I want to clear some bugs out of my software and compare coefficients from different dcf. I ready to change dcf files. Send me PM if ...
