Re: Vector Light Commuter Build

I've enjoyed this build thread Skeetab. Wondering where you are on the project? I'm rather new to all things electric and not experienced in bike repair, though always mechanically successfully at whatever I have jumped into. Pretty set on building my own E-Bike as market's limited and I really wan...

Re: Vector Light Commuter Build

i ended up using a slightly longer bottom bracket to bring the crank arms out a little bit more... otherwise my original crank arms were hitting the swingarm, but i think it depends on your crank arms, some come out a bit farther than others. I just had a few bottom brackets laying around so i used ...

Re: Vector e-bike Frame 599$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE

I also got a vector light frame like 3 weeks ago. Ive been a bit busy so the build has taken awhile, but Im really impressed with the frame. I dont think you can get anything of this quality at the price that Artur is selling these frames for. The bike is basically finished now (want to upgrade the ...

My guess is the CA is not configured properly. Do you have the manual? It's available online.
You were right. I changed since settings and now it works

Given the rear swing arm geometry it looks part Pogo Stick.
It is a bit bouncy, but actually feels quite nice. I have driven a stealth and the suspension really isn't that much different feeling, but I have yet to really out the light frame to test

Re: Vector Light Commuter Build

It definitely was a tight fit with the washers, but I managed to fit them in with a little bit of bending. I was actually impressed by the size though. I thought my frame would be easy to small, but it actually does me quite well. (I'm 183cm or 6'0"). So far I am pretty satisfied with this frame, b...

Try it without the CA, with the throttle directly connected to the controller.
Just tried it and it works :/. Why?

Re: Infineon controller help :)

Your first best bet is to get the manual from EM3EV for hte controller to be sure the other wires are all correctly connected to your stuff, and that your battery voltage is high enough to be over the controller's LVC. The motor wire order won't matter except for direction of spin. Most likely eith...

Infineon controller help :)

I have a cheap 1000w rear hub motor that came with a kit. It has hall sensors and a blue, green and yellow phase wires. My controller is a 12 fet em3ev infineon sensorless controller also with blue, green and yellow phase wires (I know I should've probably gotten the sensored controller, but I thoug...

The BMS controller ignition control is a nice feature - eliminates BMS heating and current rating issues. How about a link to the BMS vendor?

Best 8 speed chain

Tine for a new chain. I'm running 3000w hub so I don't need anything short string now, but t I want a good chain that will last and won't break the bank :) I may be upgrading to a cyclone 3000w so something that can handle that would be nice :)

Re: Limiting power down to legal levels

i doubt if they would go through all the trouble to have you head down to a dyno testing centre.... They may set a future date that you must go to a dyno, but if thats the case then you would probably have plenty of time to limit your motor. I would think that just slapping a 250W sticker on it woul...

Re: Do enduro frames suck?

As far as the legal matters that others brought up, I don't really see any issue. Even a 15kw monster is street legal with speed and amp limits set. :) im not sure where you are located, but im pretty sure having a motor that is able to go over the legal limit (even if it is restricted) is illegal ...

The dropouts are only 135mm and most powerful motors are 150mm. Not sure if the dropouts can be stretched or if they do a 150mm version. I have sent a message to vector via their webpage but haven't got a reply yet. this frame is obviously not designed for a super powered build, but im sure the dro...
