Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Thanks for chipping in on the bms and battery discussion. I haven't been able go remove my battery since I got the bike. I tried once but it wouldn't move so I let it sit for now. What's the movement to remove it? Just put the key in and unlock and slide upwards and outwards? Need to try that again.

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Hi everyone, Question about the battery and the charge indicator: (Battery is in state fully charged) From time to time, when I turn the bikes battery on, a red led and one green led lights up and I can't power the bike on with the power switch on the handlebar. When I turn the battery off and on ag...

Adam, what's the take on beta testers for the belt drive? Do you have a list allready? How many kits are you sending out?

Sounds good Adam.

Will you include any instructions how to replace the chain with the belt kit, how much torque the bolts should be tightened with etc etc?

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

To keep us entertained in the winter darkness, how bout some more testing videos on the belt drive? I would prefer some bashing in the woods :)

See if you can find a local welder where you live and have it fixed!
Should be very cheap and quick.

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Hello Adam. Thanks for the pedal arm. Now everything seems good! About the belt kits, if you need someone to test, please let me know. If not, will it vr possible to order a kit later on? Once all testing is finished?

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Hi Adam

Thanks for getting back to me. I have no idea, I've just ridding it since I got it and lately it's starting to make a little noise when pushing hard. I'll send you a couple of pictures!

Cheers

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Looking good 😀 Where in the world are you located Joe? Need to ask a question, I notice some creaking noise from my left pedal arm. Tightening it up makes the motor engage just so slightly when rolling the bike. I can see the bb / torque sensor / bearing move just a little, about a millimeter. Will ...

Glad to see some riding photos! I took mine out today as well with my five year old son. Went for an hour in the woods. Had - 1 Celsius. Crisp clean air and dead silent.

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

More details here : I will make some test with the sound meter we have compared to the chain drive. Interesting work Adam! Seems like your on the right track! Hopefully the belt system can deal with all the abuse that comes from enduro riding and bashing. Hope it turns out right, in that case I wil...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Exciting news! While I agree the noise is acceptable in the woods, it's way to loud when riding on public roads at around 20-30 km/h or faster. The belt drive seems like a great idea if you can pull it off. Please share some videos of the testing, always interesting to follow.

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Not sure but you guys probably thought about this already but I believe one of the main reasons this motor setup is so noisy is because we have large amounts of vibrations going into the frame (from the sprocket and chain) in the box like structure that holds the motor and battery. I haven't removed...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Hello, I've noticed that my pas sensor is cutting out from time to time. I've tried pedaling harder to see if it's torque related but it didn't do any difference. If I blip the throttle it resumes and works as it should. I've read on Facebook that a new pedal arm might solve the issue? Somehow it's ...

Adam, any news on the new case for the display unit? My backside cracked as I emailed about.

Also, how the heck do I remove the battery? It won't budge no matter key position..

After some riding I think I need to get a couple of centimeters closer to the handlebars. What's the best way of achieving this? Is there some kind of tilted raisers?
Did you already move the seat all the way forward?
I haven't :) Good tip! I'll get it a go.

Thanks

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

One idea as well could be to squeeze in a thin rubber gasket between the engine and the bikeframe to block vibrations going from the engine into the frame. Since the frame is rather hollow, this might enhance the sound coming from the engine. Another idea could be to add a thick rubber mat on top of...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

It looks to me that there has been absolutely nothing done on the front sprocket area what so ever to reduce the noise it makes. How is this? LMX boys showed in a video how the noise had now been reduced by using something to dampen the front sprocket which makes 100% of the noise. I hope your bike...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

I removed the battery before using the hose, but the electronics just needs to withstand it. I cannot have a bike that doesn't cope with washing. You see how dirty it gets, and i see no other way then to hose it clean. Battery is cleaned with a moist cloth  Bike with upgrades was 5568€ ex. VA...
