Thanks! How exactly does a hub motor destroy suspension forks anyway? I would imagine that they should be built to take abuse sufficient for any sub 500w hubmotor what with being designed for off roading and all that. The torque it produces will destroy forks. Doh.. sorry yeah its frame clearance that's the problem. Seems like the hub motor wheel slightly changes the position or the tire as the normal wheel is perfectly centered, and I have more clearance than I need on one side and contact with the frame on the other. Any recommendations for a suitable ...

Ah, I didn't know there was such a thing as high C rate D's. I will openly admit I don't know squat about nicads. The person selling the cells said they were higher discharge nicads.
