Good to hear it richrich. Have you had any issues with chain drop or changes to the original shifting feel? Always good to hear feedback on people who have actual experience before I jump in on the same.

Probably a dumb question, but can a single thread be cross referenced (without multiple copies) within different forum sections and look like it is posted in each :?: Just curious. Sorry to be OT w/ BBS detail.

Re: Input requested on newbie build with Trek 820

If you decide on a MAC, consider the 10T version which while slower (read safer) on the flats, will have less overheating issues on the long gradual climbs you mention. For your size and weight it may last longer than an 8T which is also an excellent choice. If cellmans lead times are too long for y...

Re: Handlebar Cam Catches Hit & Run

That road section Ashby leading up to Tunnel Road is a major outlet out of Berkeley. Pretty much has continuous car traffic throughout the day. UC Berkeley, LBL Labs, city of Berkeley all funnel out of there. A lot of cyclists use the Uplands surface streets that has far less traffic and then joins ...

Not sure on an ht3525, but Illia of ebikessf.com writes: Rear motor can take up to 7 speed freewheel, so bikes with 8 and 9 speed systems will require either downgrade to 7 speeds, or a slight dropout stretching to accommodate 8 or 9 speed freewheel. While he states this in his BMC faq, you could as...

I like Tyler's analogy for simplicity. TD wrote: I generally consider LiCo vs. LiFe like Gasoline vs. Diesel... they both burn, but LiFe (like diesel) is a bit less dramatic. Cautious use, well designed BMS and charging procedures and protected casings (like dogman mentioned). I like the Pelican cas...
