Re: Power winch for wake-boarding

I am following this build for a while now. First of all I would like to say, excellent work! It looks really well. As an highly interested lurker I do have two questions: - How do you prevent snow entering the enclosed box when you are winching up again? The wire will be wet or has snow on it no mat...

Then you forgot to connect the motor temp sensor.
Or disable the temp sensor input in DVT if your motor doesnt have one.

That's strange because when I shift the encoder it really does give a big difference in reaction and rotation

Re: Sevcon Gen4 Size 4 motor controller - 80 V 350 A - € 150

Why did you exchange this controller for something else? Do you have programming cable? Does it work with hub motors? Nope. I bought it from someone who scrapped the frame of the scooter. People who own a Govecs scooter often dont know the value/potential of the Sevcon in it. At first I wanted to k...

Re: Chevy Volt Pack Info - Salvage 16kwh Packs Under $2k

Hi Forum People, I just thought it would be relevant for me to post that I have been using a 2 kwhr 44v chevy volt module paired to a leaf bike 48v 1500w motor. Used tp 1430c charger. I did not use a BMS.It has been rock solid for the last year. Tons of power, tons of capacity. Just really heavy (4...

Re: Is any of the cheapest Chinese chargers (72V LiPo w BMS)

Charging LiPo is simple right? So assuming the charger is reasonably safe. Is there any reason to get an expensive one? After the fault of assuming which is the mother of all frock f*ck ups in the first place. Do you want your family and house to be reasonably safe? And no, charging lipo is not sim...

Re: Energy meter for EV

The advantage of bluetooth is that you probably already have the displaying device in possession. Your smartphone. Plus I own a CA for several months already but thus far have not mounted it to my EV. If you ride a bike it is not really a problem because you have the added handlebar mounts. But I wa...

Re: Energy meter for EV

I am looking for a device like this. With a PCB easy to mount out of sight and when you need the telemetry info you just take out your phone.

Possibly also with cell balance info just like the speedict but with added voltage/current display functionality and high voltages (16S+) compatibility.

Re: Govecs Go! 2.4 issues please point me in the right direc

The encoder which is mounted on the shaft has double option. incremental optical & hall.
Sevcon controller only utilizes the hall feedback option so that wont be the issue i guess because it cannot be mounted in a wrong angle afaik.
Where did you buy the Ixxat adapter?

Ah, i always thought they were 21 S for some reason. I also have a 20S NMC battery in my Govecs and I charge with two MW HLG-240H-42a in series which i mounted on board where the original charger used to be. I have also dialled down to 82 volt for 4,1v/cell full charge to ease the stressing on the c...

Hi man,

The 1.6 version can be downloaded freely from what I can recall.
But this version also needs an Sevcon engineer login with password. Do you have that?

Snap two HLG-240H-30A in series.
Adjust voltage from both to 29.5 volt and enjoy an easy and affordable 'fully-encapsulated'/bulk charge/IP65/5G-vibration/fanless high eff.' solution.
