My father worked at XXXX, my brother worked at XXXX and I worked at XXXX. the only reason my mother never worked there was she hated the smell. The words that have been used about our beloved beer makes me angry and hostile and I will issue my advice on WA queer beer.
WA finest is the sweat from the arm pits of camels that is then soaked in the undergarments from large hairy Russian women who never shower and worked in the salt mines. It is then taken and consumed by garlic eating Bulgarian men who spit it into rusty uncleaned toilet pans from the local dysentery hospital ward and then bottled and sold.
When in doubt, REV!! it out.

My mother's second cousin's uncle's brother worked at the XXXX brewery at Milton ......... I think.

Since the floods, there has been NO WORK at the bananabending factory here in QLD. So we are all obviously forced to work at the XXXX brewery.

Its just hell here in the sunshine state at the moment ,let me assure you. (with bad spelling)

Here's my video from the perth group ride finally. I had heaps of footage so it took ages to edit down into something that wasnt too long and boring. As it is its 12 minutes.

It isn't my usual fast paced action vid, more just documenting the days ride, which was great fun.
The camera got gunk on it unfortunately (bugs ?) throughout the ride so the quality gets worse towards the end.
I lost the camera twice, due to a dodgy mount, once chasing seagulls and I also chased 2 swans at one point. I actually had to brake because the big heavy lunk heads weren't going to make it out of the way

I'll spam this in a few other places too for people who wanted vids of their bikes shown.

Yeah i blame 'bong memory' on this one, dopey me didn't remebr to do the bolts up on
the disk brake mount (which also holds the rear motor powered drive sprocket)
I had mocked the bike up weeks before and simply forgot i hadn't tightend them...
not a big issue was solved thanks to Matt.P's handy work in under 10 minutes
and we were on our way again...

The bike paths here are fantastic YPedal MaN we have literaly
hundreds of kilometers of them just like you saw in the video...
alot of them around the river too...the ride was 23km round loop.

Great job on the video too Jay i commented also on Pauls
thread about it...thanks for taking the time to capture and edit the
footage i know its a time consuming thing to do...Was a GREAT day
definitely, hope to catch up and do it again with Jay next time he's in town
for the locals we shall do it all again soon ;-)

Here are some vids I did with my 808 spy camera.
The reference to the "seen of the accident" in the third vid, is where Lawrie came to grief on the first ride.

30th October Group Ride

Postby AussieJester » Mon Oct 10, 2011 7:27 pm

Group Ride Time 30th October

I would like to see how many interested parties would like
To head out on the 30th October for a few hours ride around
The city? The ride will be 32km, predominately flat ground and 99%
On the cities cycle way. Meeting point will be same as last ride days
I.e. carpark next to the Garrat rd bridge

The date is non negotiable, time of day is, Matt, myself and Tony will be riding
That day re-gardless. The route will take us past the Burswood Casino, through South Perth, over the narrows bridge, down as far as the university of WA, up through
Kings park, down through north bridge then back to Maylands, we would like to keep a pace of 40km//hr or so, people wishing to come make sure you have the battery capacity to make the journey please.

Matt had completed this ride previously with Tony, thus we already know the distance involved. People wishing to come please let us know if afternoon or morning is preferred, majority will rule, I put my hand up for early afternoon say 1pm meet up, 1.30pm start out on the ride....

Hope all that have come in the past can make the ride again, look forward to catching up with the old faces and any new additions ;-)

KiM

P.s there are bar-b-q facilities at the meeting point, if anyone wants to cook up a fee or maybe bring the family along etc good fishing spot for black bream under the bridge too!

I'm in, though I don't know if I'll be able to make the full distance of the ride at that speed. :D

When I go WOT through that area each day, I average about 32kph and typically cruise in the high 30s. I use between 7 and 9 aH of my 15 aH pack to go 17km, so I know how far I can go quickly and still be nice to my pack

My next bike is a cellman mac with 30% more aH, so that will go for a bit longer 8)

Cheers,

Simon.

All good sico, I'm sure we can accommodate you speed wise, i'll just have to stay in first gear i guess :P you shouldn't have trouble making the distance Tony (owner of Rat Fink) did the trip on 15ah pack, he did hit the LVC on our ride up her in the hills Sunday though, that was only 23km  shows how much the hills zap the batteries compared to riding down where you flat land dwellers live :P hehe... Catch ya there mate ;-)
