+1 for Dogman's amazing posts!
Always trusted his extensive review of hub motors, even if I've gone to the RC side.
Thanks Justin of http://ebikes.ca for your amazing talents, dedication and contributions to ES!

Safe was also booted from motoredbicycling forum too.

From what I remember, he had good input.

I think it was recumpence's early builds that got me hooked on ES. I've come and gone over the past couple years. The strength of community is amazing here, what a resource.

Add to timeline:
Early 2011: ES bought out, unbeknownst to it's membership (with no offer to the members to let them buy it, either)

Late July 2011: ES moderators notified of the change; discussion attempted with new owner to little result.

Early August 2011: ES membership notified of change; discussion attempted with new owner to no noticeable result. Revolt in progress.

August 2011

Trevor decides if ES goes down in flames and recovers nothing, or if he sells it back to the community of members.

Endless sphere ends in flame, or he sells it back to us.

New forum is created, grown from the ground-up to never have a douche sell it out to a forum destruction club.
For ebike parts, don't be a douche, buy from http://www.ebikes.ca or http://www.MethTek.com

Justin saved the forum at great personal expense! The man is a legend and a hero!

This sucks d*ck. Can I get in trouble for saying that now?

I've only just started getting into this site and now it's about to bite the just. Super sh*t.

Starting a new forum sounds exciting though. I'd love to be involved with "The new ES" from the ground up. That's something I'd pour my spare time into for sure.

Shouda argued with Safe more Mr Goodrum. You'd have a bigger post count then.

I had a ball debating the economy with him. He was so dang clueless about what it's like to be poor in america. It was like opening up George Bush's skull and seeing the devils inside to debate with Safe. Others didn't like him and knew just how to make him screw up in a post. Eventually Safe crossed the line and got booted. Some of those folks are still here, but live in the cesspool. Man, I can only imagine what was posted, to get him booted.

Sounds like a "Safe" bet...

I never let Safe get to me, because I simply stopped reading his posts. I just skipped right over them. I guess I should have read a few, and posted, but I think I'd prefer to keep the extra couple of years that would've cost me. ;)

Like others, I just got to ejoying proving him wrong. Later of course it did get obvious that facts meant nothing to him. He was so into believing the big lies. But I gave it a try, to convince him that money does not equal rightness.
