We should do this here!

Talk about anything and everything here within reason.

We should do this here!

Arturas Zuoka, the mayor of Lithuania's capital city Vilnius, used a military-grade tank to crush a Mercedes-Benz that was illegally parked in a bike lane (via The New York Times).

Zuoka installed the bike lanes during his first term as mayor, and was reportedly upset about their misuse.

In the video, Zuoka says "what should the city do about drivers who think that they are above the law? It seems that a tank is the best solution" (according to The Guardian's translation).

The Michael O'Leary of the Lithuanian political world. There is no such thing as bad publicity, although he is seriously stretching the maxim.

It would seem to me the stunt was set up, not a real random car owner. But right on for an agressive tow away policy.
THE LIPO RULES. NEVER ABOVE 4.3V NEVER BELOW 2.7V DON'T PUNCTURE

Ideal charging /discharging range for Lipo, 3.65v minimum 4.1v maximum

See battery technology section, FAQ thread at the top of the page for lipo noob info.

Ride something like the Hanebrink, with huge tires, and ride over the cars yourself.

LOL!! What a great idea! Then I can use that same excuse the caggers use "oh I'm sorry, I didn't even see you!" :P :P

Now the only problem is getting a heavy enough E-Bike to do the damage ... oh just use SLA's!!

2WD would help. Also studded tires.
<edit> So, I went and looked up Hanebrink. Neat bike, probably good for up here, but you would need TALL tires for this aplication, not floatation. Without studs, they still might not know you'd been there. :)

Yeah, I could also fit 205 pounds of power assist in the tire, in the form of Nana and Hachi, with that.
