Quality control from web dealers

Box is not damaged, and was impossible for me to do this when opening.

If they don't resolve this to my standards (pay shipping both ways) I will tell you who it was. It's an Amazon bike gear seller in NY state.

You posted first without contacting them? And now you won't reveal who it is until it's resolved or not resolved?
Even if they do replace it, sending you a bad tire to begin with is lousy quality control. That's enough right there to warrant naming them.
Now, I suppose, if they compensated you for your trouble by, say, giving you your money back AND an new tire, then you could forgive them.
What kind exactly is it anyway?

Well I haven't heard back from them today. I will give them time to remedy the issue, then if they don't I will warn you guys.

The tire is a Kenda Kwest 26x 1.95"

I was hoping to switch out my rear Kwest 1.5" for a smoother ride.

And yeah, it'd be nice if they compensated me for my trouble too..

"Thank you for the pic. I have shipped the new one out today. Do not worry about sending the defective tire back. Thank you and please let me know if there is anything else I can do."

Looks good so far...
