Racism.

Take it somewhere else.

+1. Except, maybe just drop it; don't take it anywhere.

I was going to comment, but I thought this was just some more trolling shit. And it is. Never the less, somethings still ought to be actively countered less the record stand otherwise (as Chalo did.)

I love the 2 stop lights in our town. That's where I get to hand out lessons about the power potential of ebikes to unsuspecting motorcycle and sports car owners. No red lights would ruin my hunting.

Would a cattle prod connected by a coil cord to the battery terminals work? It could be mounted across the handle bars ready to use.

No Good, unfortunately. Just too vulnerable to "institutionalized" assaults on a bike. In a split second the assaulter will have you down on the ground for further beatings. The intent is to remove your civil right to choose your method of transportation and unless there is major outcry from the public for severe penalties, our right to enjoy the "EV GRIN" is severly curtailed. I certainly lost my "EV GRIN". Same reason GM's EV1 and EV2 never made it.

Pepper spray and/or a tazer is better than nothing. Most crims are all about the path of least resistance. If you appear to be able to defend++ yourself, they'll probably pass on you and simply harass the next guy that looks weaker.

I've never had a problem though. Usually it's chicks whistling at me while I'm on my bike that gets my attention.

What the hell? Guys can you stop posting on this thread. Chessir is an annoying as hell troll.

Kindly, with all respect. I beseech to step out and look at it. But, really? Especially when it comes to reading his most recent post- i understand not noticing if you didn't read the most recent post. But this thread just looks bad.

in my opinion he was in the wrong place at the wrong time......
shit happends....you cant do nothing about it. all you can do is be ready for it now that you know it has happend to you.
people get beat up everyday, people die everyday. we live in mostly a civilized world but there are some places in this world that is not so civilized.

all i can say is......get over it, and be ready if it ever happends again.

how i see it, this world is not as nice as most people think it is......hence for my training for the day, (god forbid) that anything comes my way, ill be ready to go down with a fight. :)

In Texas we have concealed carry laws and stand your ground laws. In a lot of places in the US if you were confronted by someone with say a baseball bat, you are not allowed to defend yourself. U have to turn and run. Otherwise the criminal gets a free pass and you are the one to get charged. In Texas if someone assaults you, even if it's 12 or 13 year old boys you can gun them down where they stand if they have a stick or knife. I love Texas.

that's frocked up man.^

No one who has half a mind relishes the idea that you could go ahead and kill someone. sure, it's great you can defend yourself. But utter bullshit to be proud of killing anyone, even if that's what it takes.

But for the third time, I've enough of this thread and I will endeavor to stay off it. Still, I think this should be in the toxic discussions forum.

I've been in Texas and it seems to work, people don't know if you have a weapon or not and don't want to take a chance you do have one. Anyone know if they have a similar law in Colorado in reference to the Colorado shooting?

I read that Aurora city law prohibits concealed carry and the theater where the massacre occurred disallows firearms. But state law there allows concealed carry with a county permit.

You must not read well. If you read my prior postings you would have read that the mayor (lueke), a generally respected public servant of this city of over 90000 and a multiterm elected official, had his 2 bikes stolen out of his residence. They stole only his bikes and in the process permanently damaged his sense of security and wellbeing.

This. Have the power for when you need it. You try to grab a guy who is running 5000w or so and see what happens. I always carry a tool, literally. A ratchet ought to do the job.
