Ummm.. Started out in Victoria BC Canada, then sta
"ES Bible" "Search found 1 match: +Wicca".

Hehe... Was just curious while watching a YT vid: Britain's Wicca Man (Pagan Witchcraft Religion Documentary) | Timeline

... and hearing about stuff like the 2007 test case in US courts concluding that the Wicca Pentangle IS a "religious sign" that IS "legal" to have on cemetery monuments. (!)

Any "pagans" here? :)

Well "Blessed Be". 8) I am a Wiccan.

^^ GOLLY! Hehe... So, watt d/you think of that YT vid above? A fair look at the subject? Truth? I'm about the most NON-religious person. So go to christian churches and hebrew synagogues and muslim mosques to enjoy the architecture. BUT is wicca EVen a "religion" in a "traditional sense"? Do regret not seeing Stonehenge in England (Canadian lived in UK for three years), but suspect Stonehenge is more "druid-like" than "wicca-like". And at the same time the vid was talking about wicca being a "recent" development. Sorta like worshiping the bettery-electric bicycle. (Watt I do daily.)

I'm more of a left hand path kinda guy.

I like to "believe" just that the "best" one can do is to leave this planet as a "better place" for future generations. (Like, one ancestor of mine that helped start a new training program from Germany for young children in Toronto schools in the late 1800s, watt the Germans termed "Kinder Garten" - see James Laughlin Hughes.)

Hence my interest in the success of electric traction. As the "ebike". :)

Whereas, if we're tapping about "magic" as in "paranormal":

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paranormal

... I tend to hang out more in the preternatural camp:

Rather surprised to see such a topic here!

pa·gan

/ˈpāɡən/
noun
noun: pagan; plural noun: pagans
1.
a person holding religious beliefs other than those of the main world religions (and some would say "any non-Abrahamic" religious beliefs).

As such,.... OMG!!! I'm a PAGAN!!!!
but alas, I am outside any descriptive of "mainstream religions", religious orders, paths, followings, eclectic beliefs, tribes, cultures, etc., etc.

yes,.... true and accurate IMO, of Gardnerian traditions and followings, and of some others as well. By coincidence I suppose, I know and/or have associated with many of such, as well as others of specific English and European origins, and rather surprisingly, those of MANY other origins, new, old and ancient, as well. Jus lucky and fortunate, I guess. And yes,... I would say VERY religious in a traditional sense, and otherwise, some recent, some primitive. I say that relative to many others I know of various "mainstream" religions, beliefs and cultures.

I still pedal my bike (sorta primitive), and the magick of that throttle (sorta recent) is still amazing to me! And I've always enjoy architecture of all sorts, with great intrigue as well.

^^ `Kay! ... "Religion"...

(Wiki:)Religion is any cultural system of designated behaviors and practices, world views, texts, sanctified places, ethics, or organizations, that relate humanity to the supernatural or transcendental. Religions relate humanity to what anthropologist Clifford Geertz has referred to as a cosmic "order of existence". However, there is no scholarly consensus over what precisely constitutes a religion.

The new religion (where folks give praise to the ebike, and has many gods... "Gods of the Ebike":)
https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=59924

... is an alternative belief system that some may think can help KILL OFF the horseless carriage using engines that burn fossil fuels.

So it's perhaps amusing to see how much... grief and hostilities over human existance where folks had their own... systems... watt didn't agree with others? I had to ask once "What has killed more, politics or religion?" and perhaps the "best" response I got back was STUPIDITY.

Folks that know me might conclude I'm a "fan of history"? See for example one ES thread "Horses of Iron":
https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=8099

(apparently now viewed over 180,000 times...)

... and I gave up watching commercial television decades ago for something that's FAR more addictive (the internet) where I get to see the news from the future (watts happening elsewhere) AND lots of "documentaries", "films"... and "stuff".

Which sorta explains (not really) why Youtube "selected" that video about Wicca for me to watch.

... and being a true believer in electric traction as the bettery-electric bicycle, and having been PERSECUTED for my beliefs over the years, that vid about Wicca sorta "struck a chord"?

So. THANKS for the "feedback"! I've learned to "double-check" anything seen on the internet, and do appreciate any verification.

Cheers

Hehe... Speaking of YT offering me "funny stuff" to see...

The Ebiker Temple Of Doom (Documentary) | Timeline

Well... for an Ebiker "Temple of Doom", my vote? The Grand hotel du Palais Royal in Paris, France.
http://www.grandhoteldupalaisroyal.com/

Watt are folks up to in 2018?

Why THAT hotel in THAT city? ("5 Star" too scary?)

Search ES for "trouve"...

Sooner/later you will come across this thread maybe "Replica ebike - 1881":
