So I read Kip Thorne's book and started telling people that black holes don't exist. I knew the guy who was limping through school while working full time and had plenty of time to decide between Physics and Astrophysics at the rate he was going, boy would THAT piss him off when I'd say that. So one day he says he's got the class REALLY gonna teach him about black holes and he was really going to let me have it when he was ready. He wound up saying they exist, but they're not what he always thought they were. And I told him he was learning. . . .
