Most of us don't have the resources to wrestle with an EV-car conversion, but give us a hacksaw, drill and a welder, and in the world of bicycles there will always be the greatest variety of innovative ideas that anyone could imagine.

There are many kinds of cargo trailers for bicycles. They can carry some groceries, a dog, or your child. These guys made a sidecar that allows a wheelchair to roll up into it, so our disabled friends can ride with us. Also great for dogs and groceries!

Affordable starter E-Bike kits usually have bulky lead batteries, but putting them inline on the floor of this sidecar is easy and doesn't interfere with continuing to use it for wheelchairs. You couldn't ride one of these on the sidewalk, but it is still a great idea for some.

Golden Motor HPM 3000

50kg, aluminum frame, $2750? Battery is made by High star Knap tech using Panasonic 18650pf
48v is 140 cells 25ah 1300wh
60v is 176 cells 32ah 1900wh max 100ah discharge
48v is 140 cells 25ah 1300wh

Should be 14s10p and would make it 140 cells 29Ah, maybe some typo from them?

60v is 176 cells 32ah 1900wh
aebrennan appears to be factory rep
In both version, the motor is the same.
2. The controller is the same. We developed the controller to be ok with 2 different voltages. Controller’s max voltage is limited to be 70V.
3. For the 48V battery pack, this moment, it’s 14S 10P, and the capacity is given to be 25Ah. This is what I got this moment. But for your question, I will check with our engineers and even the battery factory, then, can answer you about this.
4. As I informed you, for industrial production, we will use an Taiwan Brand absorbers FASTACE. And their web link is www.fastace.com, and brake we will use L.B.N, their web link is www.chinalbn.cn
Should be 16s11p and would make it 176cells 31,9Ah

Im a paraplegic myself so this thread caught my eye. I considered building a sidecar setup myself before going with a trike. Good to see something else being made for the disabled. The bicycle needz electrifying though, pedalling that with another person on the side car WITH a wheelchair would be a hard exercise IMO.

Dear AJ, love the trike, mate! first class work. I can tell you've built it to last.

I just saw the pics you posted where you tow your wheelchair behind the trike. I thought it would be good to link them here due to the post title and future search terms used.

I noticed the geometry looks like pedals could be attached, are you considering selling plans to the general public?

Not to be "insensitive" or anything, but why would you use a human powered vehicle to help move a wheelchair? Isn't a wheelchair a human powered vehicle in and of itself? I mean, I could see if you were putting this on a motorcycle and using it to move a wheelchair around.
