I've been following these forums for along long time and am finally posting something.
So In the next few months I am getting a MHM 602. I will be running 72v worth of Thundersky 40ah batteries, I probaly will not ever go to higher voltage unless I come into serious money inwhich case I can upgrade my controller too. I would like advice on the controller I should use, It is between these:
KEB72601,200A,72V, BLDC Regen http://www.newkellycontroller.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=279
KBL72201,24-72V,200A,BLDC Regen http://www.newkellycontroller.com/product_info.php?cPath=23_46&products_id=262
I plan on going 30mph 96% of the time, The other 4% I need to go 45mph to pass or to get out of possible danger. I would like to get to 30mph as quick as possible without losing control of my bike or doing a wheelie, not that wheelies aren't cool or anything
I had previously converted a Kawasaki GPZ 750 to electric using a Mars motor and a brushless sevcon controller running at 36v of walmart leadacid using a 6:1 ratio. The bike topped out at 25mph and got there faster then any 50cc scooter I ever rode.
