Pro-tips for noobs: Avoid BMS Battery like the plague | Charge RC Lipos to 4.15v, stop discharging at 3.5-3.6v | Use torque plates/arms! | Rear mounted hubs are always best

i see you have the motor sprocket mounted all the way on the end of the shaft.
it is better to mount the sprocket as close to the motor as possible.

Yes but I have a "third" bearing at the end of the shaft. Works well though

ah yes i see the support bearing now! in that case it doesn't matter where you mount the sprocket :D

could you post some close-up pictures of various parts of the scooter.

i am also buiding a stand-up scooter, only with 12.5X2.5 inch wheels, for now a 6374 outrunner motor and a castle creations ICE 160A controller.

i would also be interested how the start-up is with the dlux controller? could you possibly post a vid?

It looks like the shaft is supported in a bearing at the very end of the shaft. That thing looks way to much fun :mrgreen:

I had a gasser I modded to go 35mph or so it was insane riding alongside cars at the same speed. Hit the rail tracks once and the chain came off not such a good thing. :shock: Figured it could have easily locked up the wheel and I would have been sliding down the pavement on my face. So I took it back to stock and gave it away. Your scooter is much nicer looking than mine and electric as well I really like it. Enjoy it while you are still invincible. Thanks for the post.
Just pretend that everything is OK maybe no one will notice.

The dlux 160 seems to work well at the moment, Ive 20km with it with no heat and no issue. Add extra caps If you use it on an EV appilcation.

Awesome scooter! thats definitely one of the fastest Ive seen!

I'm wondering how it goes with the sensorless controller at low speeds? does it start up smoothly?

The reason I ask is because Im using the same motor (the 130 kv version) on a mountain board - http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=28463&start=60 but I'm not having much success with my home built sensored controller, it keeps blowing. So I'm looking into buying a controller and was hoping you could tell me how the Turnigy HV 160A goes?

maybe this

http://www.pocketbikeworld.eu/Ersatztei ... e::78.html

together with that:

http://www.pocketbikeworld.eu/Ersatztei ... cm::3.html

will resolve the problem of low rpm problems with sensorless control for not much money...

Well, if you doubled that speed, or even trebled it.., you might get close to what a Kart can do on 10"wheels ! :roll:
.. and still with no suspension, !

PS:- if those guys bothered to find one half decent kart motor,.. (instead of those silly hopped up weed wackers ),.. they would be able to actually do a reasonable speed. !!

Sweet Jesus. I would definitely try to go sensored, if you want to alleviate some of your controller woes.

That thing is unreal.

nuts ..yes, .......impressive ..no !

people go faster than that on snow ski's, water skis, even thos guys on unpowerer "luge" boards probably get to that speed.
So why is a modified, dual engined, go ped,.... surprising at that speed ??
