Re-wireing a Gio (brakes/speed-o-meter)

Since no-one was able to provide any sort of help or diagram when i started this project i've gone about pulling the whole bike apart and tracing wires to do it myself, i've been able to get everything working so far besides the brakes and speed-o-meter (it kinda works, and by that i mean my battery charge meter is working like a speed-o-meter.) the rather poor diagram i was provided by the place i purchased the controller from doesn't list any e-ab wires (there is also a blue governor and purple wire not shown on the diagram so im sure its not the exact same controller.) and thats my main concern as im sure i just need to re-seat the pin in the connecter to the right wire for the meter to work. (though i assume once i do so my battery meter will not start working.) so im hopeing someone here has some experience with freedom controllers and can give me a better idea of what the wires do.
