I agree whole heartedly. I thought the monster dark would be a great candidate for conversion.

There's a Monster Dark which parks on my street outside my apartment. Maybe I should just do a midnight conversion for the owner

Be sacrilege to convert any Ducati to electric IMO, they are brilliant just as they are...

Not the best GP motor imao, but have to agree they make pretty wrappers, especially this one Image Image ...but still can be improved, a clear coat paint job would bring out the natural black iridescent glow of the light carbon fiber skin and flush mount tail signal lights for a more slippery look and those funky rear view mirrors, no comment...at $60,000 plus, it's just a dream to be admired from afar.

To get back on topic about Zero motorcycles...a while back, I remember reading they have plans to produce an electric sportbike...hope their designers are looking at bikes like the Ducati for inspiration.

Not that I'm in the market for any Sport bike...too, many squidly bike thieves in my neck of the woods. I've given up sportbikes years ago, ever since my brand new two week old 2001 Yamaha R1 was stolen from my secured apartment garage ... but I still love to stare at beautiful works of art on wheels.

my current favorite electric creation is by Brammo...too bad it's not a production model.

Unless your Casey Stoner they seem to be pigs too ride too, nobody but him can get them to perform LoL

That Brammo aint too bad except for the rear end looks like one of the earlier model Kawasaki MotoGP bikes, looked
like one guy designed the front and another the back with zero communication between the two as to what each was doing LoL

Whats the performnce of the Bramo like? By look of the pic it has a fair size motor in it :-|

off topic but this article is pretty interesting...http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/first ... index.html
much slower than a 600 but for an electric prototype, it's a great start...Lithium Cobalt flaming bombs used to power it :D
