Cheers Ypedal,
Us lipo thicko noob's need as much help as we can get.

While browsing through your link I got 1/4 down the page and saw this...

"These 4 packs went to the Chaos!! and gave me a significant weight saving. !"

I clicked on the Chaos link and scrolled down, then found (to my amazment!!) just what I was looking for...
Your ABS construction.
I was just about to post on my own thread and ask if anyone could recommend something to build a box like this?

Looks like this ABS stuff is the very thing.

Fantastic. Thank you for doing that. I may finally make the move to LiPo this summer and this article is a great reference.

Good post Ypedal.

I've been feeling kinda tempted toward the Turnigy batteries. I've also had some misgivings about it over the issue of re-charging safely and properly.

Your tutorial gave me a good deal more certainty in the matter.

I'm not ready to tackle LiPo just yet.

And while that might be seen as a bummer, it's still a good thing to know.
