Postby carbonloft » Mon Apr 30, 2012 11:50 am

Hi everyone!
I am planning to assemble a 48V battery pack using 15 A123 prismatic cells
(http://a123rc.com/goods-468-Excitingly+ ... CELLS.html)
in conjunction with a BMS,,,, but i still dont understand if I am going to use a BMS ,,,do I need a special type of charger or I still need a balanced charger? And could you please advise me on what kind of BMS gonna be appropriate for this ?Thx

there is no 15S BMS. you have to go to a 16S, 48V BMS and use a regular 48V lifepo4 charger that puts out about 60V.
