Well, what are your thoughts on the pack so far? You mentioned that the tabs are very short on these packs. Ay other observations? Can you take a photo of one pack next to something familiar so we get a sense of proportions?

That dent looks worrying - no damage I hope!

The tabs also look too short for single module (cell) salvage don't they - pity.
 
Thanks for having the balls to order these. Pretty crazy one bad cell means you lose the entire pack. What was a123 thinking? More profit of course, less time to make and more chance to make money post warranty :twisted:

Are you going to risk it with the dented pack or try to return it? Probably not worth the shipping cost which is what victpower is counting on

Pretty cool it has built in temp sensors. Are you going to try and hack the bms or just not use it?
 
Thanks for the pics.

Can you post some HQ pics of the BMS board front and rear so we can identify the components. It's probably CAN bus based I would have thought.

I'm going for 2x28s3p cell modules for testing.
