Dunk charger in boron nitride?

You want to use hBN or cubic ?

problem with encapsulation is that you will put thermomechanical stress on the components and end up with a failed charger in few months.

Better solution would be a sealed aluminium enclosure filled with oil at 90% (to accomodate thermal expansion in the remaining air)

Maybe keep it in a bag when you're not using it?

Chargers can get hit with food ......."
 Now, that is not a problem i have too often ! :?:

It's something I have to consider when hauling groceries, potluck, or takeout in the cargo box of my e-bike. It gets pretty bumpy sometimes, and things can leak. So far, the charger has not gotten contaminated, but other things in the box have.

I imagine e-bike camping or touring could also result in food and charger getting together.

I'd just get a giant ziploc freezer bag to put it in. When I go (bike) camping everything that could spill and contaminate other stuff goes in one of those or something more durable. They're cheap, light, and don't take much space when empty

That's what I was thinking--maybe a cushier bag for preventing wear and tear, though.
