BTW as far I know they use turnigy 6.5kw motor with 25Ah LiFePo pack. They also make own controllers with LCD display and more advanced features...
Top speed is restricted to 45 km/h and it goes 80-100km per charge. Total weight is about 30kg.

I think that if a few bike builders can cooperate by sharing a modular frame and components than together they could compete agains China production and EU big business. There will be many opportunities but in the EV market but products like SurRon FireFly show what kind of competition we will have. Between 1999-2016 Continental invested 1,2 billion euro in Romania – 7 factories and 4 research centers. It is the biggest employer in the auto business from Romania – 19500 employees in 2017. The company is developing new e-bike technologies in Sibiu și Timișoara, Cycle Union and TechniBike will use these new engines starting with 2018. It will be like a combination of Bosch systems and Nuvinci variable transmission in one.
