How Hot Rod able are these motors?
Would love to hear more about them
Still looking for that Crystalye X5 alternative at 1/2 the weight.
At 3.5kg This may have a chance.
Tell me more about 5 phase design!!!

Team Hybrid helped launch the Falco e-motor system at Eurobike at the beginning of September with great success. The interest from dealers and manufacturers from around the world was strong.

At 55Nm Falco e-motors have more torque than the highest offering from Heinzmann and 60% more torque than Bionx systems and only weigh 3.5Kgs

Falco eMotors are brushless, gearless, silent, light weight and powerful due to the patented phase/winding method with advanced regenerative braking. The Falco e-motor out- performs everything else in its class.

The electronic controller is fully integrated and enclosed inside the motor housing.

The 36v 9 Ah Li-ion battery is built into the hub of the wheel, battery or motor can be mounted in either front or rear of the bike.

The command console is the first wireless console on the market featuring a custom designed LCD screen and it can communicate wirelessly with all the Falco components on a bike. It has on board data storage and PC diagnostic capabilities as well.

We are now taking orders for Hx and Dx kit samples these will be ready to send to dealers in January and will be in full production by March 2011.

Falco are looking for distributors and dealers worldwide.

Hey Mark H.......what's the update on these "Kit's".

I've got a dead '05 TidalForce M-750X & Shelli from LEVT wants me to send her the complete hubs/dash/wiring, though I'm afraid of getting a $2K bill for a $500 bike, so have been holding off.

These hubs & battery packs seem to duplicate the intent of the TF bikes, just UPDATED.

Thanks.

These motors look great!!

Are they capable of >5KW of power?
Or maybe the question is. Are the controllers capable of putting out that kind of power?
What is the max these can do in stock form Burst and continious?

Can we bypass the stock controller and go with some highpowered 3 phase hall sensored ones?

When are they comming to market.

Keep us posted thanks for the update.

.....and now i feel like an idiot for buying a geared hub motor last week.

Any idea on price?

circuit board you can see exposed to environment.
Sombody must have forgot to close those gups, I understand cooling but exposed circuit boards are unacceptable unless you are in super clean Singapore city, definitely no riding in rain.
KIT,
unlike TF they are unproven all production centered in England, Swiss-made?
But 3.5kg is hudge improvement over TF but what they mean 1000W , how measured ...
TF is 7-phase already super smooth
Shortly unless they show me 2 bikes ridden 10,000miles each on such system ....
