Maybe...

I was pretty excited to be hanging out at AmegoEV yesterday...

...if I behave myself, owner Virginia might let me sell bikes for her! 8)

Pretty fun borrowing an A2B Metro just to stroll over to a Queen Street patio to sit and read promo materials and maintenance manuals... The bike is a real head-turner... Very interesting being "disconnected" from the parked bike and to hear comments from passersby. This is in a town with a pop of about 2.5 million, about 65 ebike sellers, and about 95% of the shops only carrying Chineesy scooter-style ebikes. Most of my neighbours have no idea that an ebike looks like anything other than an electric scooter. I wasn't interested in working for a "scooter" shop. Virginias "scooter-style" ebikes don't look anything like the usual China-made "quality"... I was amazed to see Anderson connectors EVerywhere, thick power wires...

For now I hope to just volunteer around the shop on Sundays.

Kinda interesting article in Fridays Globe and Mail about the growth in sales of luxury cars:

Pretty sure I'm sitting right in the middle of an untapped market for high-end ebikes...

Congrats! You will have a green job, maybe you could earn more working at some oil platform but this job will make you proud.
