That's making competition with Tesla, but on the east coast

In November, Oakridge Global Energy Solutions introduced a line of batteries for drones and radio-controlled vehicles. Then in January, the company introduced a line of golf cart batteries at the PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

none of those aims looks best for lithium-ion batteries. (Li-Po for RC, SLA for golf cart) Maybe they want to start with Lithium-ion chemistry as manufacturers or only assemblers? interesting questions not clarified
