This thread has been very helpful, I wish I found it sooner.

Does anyone know why speed setting 120% doesn't increase top speed on my litte mxus geared motor? It's not a power limit, as at 17mph I'm nowhere near the amps it can pull on a hill or accelerating.

I don't know if this is a new program or old.

I ask Keywin for the software for the EB3xx controllers I received from him. So he sent this
xpd-0.2.2-windows.zip
(79.63 KiB) Downloaded 165 times

I am still assembling the boards, so I haven't tried this yet.
I'm sure I will be asking questions soon.

I can't get it to load either.
I can't get the simulator on Ebikes.ca to run.

Running XP pro.

Gone thru all the posts I could and really it doesn't help.

Hi everyone. I would like to play with the parameters on my motor controller. I have one of Cellman's EB312-AS-2 controllers and I would like to read and save the settings profile that is currently on the controller before I attempt to tweak them. Is there any way to read the profile that is installed on the controller now before I screw everything up? If I mess everything up I can always go back and install the original parameters. Not sure how I can go about reading the info off the controller. Thanks.

No way to read from controllers that I am aware of. You're stuck with "blindly" overwriting whatever is there with your new settings.

You might ask Cell_man if he knows what those defaults are, or see if anyone has published them here on ES.

Hi Guys,

I have a new e-bike with attached (picture) controller.

Is the e-bike software and cable compatible with my controller?

Thanks, Lars

Hi Lars,

It's hard to tell from the label. Can you open the case up and take a photo of the motherboard?

Hi ambroseliao,

I didn't know where to focus on, but see attachment for 2 pictures of the mainboard.

Thanks for your help and look forward hearing if it's possible!

Thanks. Can you see a maker's name or perhaps a model number designation. At first glance, this does not look like an Infineon based controller. The board is filled with components where Infineons tend to be more sparse. I have a couple of photos here:

I can't seem to find any manufacturer info.

Attached a picture of the backside of the mainboard.

On the controller casing it says:
"Controller for brushless motor: ACZ120112
CE: SHEM01011014901
EBC-KTCO67C BST-LSG12039001"

Hi,

Can you run different versions of XPD on the same computer?
I have EB206 and EB306 controlers.
Or is there a version that will program both?

thanks Eddie

XPD is just a python program. Two versions should be fine. Just don't run both at the same time as they need access to the one serial port.

To Mowolar:
You can not program it with Keywin´s software, but you can do some modification when you connect those contacts to GND:
X - regeneration
Q - cruise control
A3 - brake or switch on side stand on the scooter (throttle is in function just after release)

Hi guys,

I just bought my controller, and was hoping to get this software setup for programming in the future.
Unfortunately, when I download any of the files in the first post, then try and unzip them,
WinRAR says that the archive is corrupt, :| and I can't do anything with them
Does anyone know a reliable link to download this from?

Thanks in advance, Tom.
Yet to build, I'll get there one day...

I don't have the software (not sure which one of the previously linked versions you mean), but sometimes I have problems downloading files in one browser but it is fine when downloaded using a different one.
One reason can be that if you get a bad download on the first attempt your browser may use your cached copy rather than download again so you keep getting the same faulty file even though you think that your downloading again. You can either empty the browser cache or force your browser to redownload, ignoring your previously downloaded copy.
It can also sometimes be a corrupt copy in your internet service providers cache- forcing a redownload may make the server redownload too- if it doesn't then download it a friends computer and email it to yourself or put it on a usb drive.

good luck
