Throttle check

Postby Crusher » Sat May 05, 2012 10:00 pm

Hi

So I've checked for a signal from my throttle at the controller. It's a crystalite pedal first controller. Anyways I have 5-volts on the red and nothing on the green. Is it safe to say I need a new throttle? I checked continuity on every wire in the throttle as close to the throttle a possible and coming from the controller all good.

Thanks for any comments.
Crytalyte 408, 48 volt Nicad 8 ah pedal first. For my 20 km each way commute. Not very badass but it works for me.

Nice little link to help noobs like me with basic troubleshooting saved me a couple of trips to Vancouver to get a pro to look at it. Ended up being my throttle. My bike took a hard fall and I think it landed on the throttle side of the handle bars.

oh yah heres the link. http://www.ebike.ca/troubleshooting.shtml
