Controller works fine under a certain voltage (around 100V range), not sure where the upper limit is.

But I've now stepped voltage up to 146 and controller will not power the motor.
I've already changed R12 to 230 ohms, well below the suggested 600ohms.
What else am I missing?

Edit: I disconnected my CA (V2.3) from the controller and the bike works. ... with the CA it doesn't run. Help?

Edit 2: Narrowing down the problem: I have an on/off switch on my CA's throttle override wire. with ThO off, bike works. With ThO on, bike doesn't work.

Just been reading up and the maximum volts for the ca2 is 150. I. Though that there was a maximum voltage setting but was unable to find it. Only low voltage cutting off

will the controller work at 146V? the voltage regulator can only handle 40V. looks like you trashed another one besides the one you burned the carbon track into.

Yes, controller still works. I rode it at 146VDC.
Which 40V regulator are you talking about?

You should not run a 150V part at 146V. Around 125V is the max and that's pushing it. I've gone as high as 135V, but that does not leave much safety margin. Usually you want around a 20% safety margin to account for voltage spikes.
