Hello team, I need a hand. It looks like I'm so close to having this setup working, but not quite.

I have - Q100H, S06S, S-LCD5, a throttle and a PAS sensor powered by a 24V battery.

What works - everything except the PAS assistance. I tried following the wiring diagram linked on the website, but the wire colors don't match at all, nor the connector count. With a multimeter and thru a process of elimination I identified the following:
* AC phase and DC - easy
*the 6-pin goes to the motor HALLs
*many pin connector to the S-LCD5
*throttle 3-pin identified with a multimeter as it's the only one that goes 5-GND-signal (as opposed to 5-S-GND)
*I think I have the brake sensors, as whenever I connect a spare PAS to them (I have no brakes) the whole system cuts

Here are some pics of the wiring as it is now.

My questions would be - is there a real S06s wiring diagram somewhere, or do you know - which connector should he PAS be coupled to and if the PAS function needs to be activated somehow? On my old infineon 4110 setup I need to short two pins to activate PAS, maybe here too? I don't want to short the controller while testing, I bet there are many having been thru this already...

Thanks in advance

*EDIT: I browsed the LCD manual and it seems there should be an ASSIST indicator if the function is active - I find no ASSIST on the display of my LCD5: https://photos.app.goo.gl/78FfK3FyK9Eprv5J3

You're correct that PAS won't work if you're in level 0, but your LCD is indicating PAS level 5. The fact that the controller turns on means you wired it right.

Throttle works? Good.

I would say you probably have the pins wrong in the PAS connector, except you probably bought the whole thing controller, LCD, and sensors as a kit and thus they should work together. However, I've bought PAS sensor and a controller from the same outfit (BMSBattery) and the connector on the PAS was the wrong gender.

The last few KT controllers I bought all use this colors on the controller side for the PAS.
brown- +5
black - ground
yellow -PAS signal

Your picture shows red, black and green coming from the PAS. I'd say .... Red is +5, Green is signal, and Black is Ground The pins can be pushed out and moved around if they're not in the right order. If you have the knack, you can push out the male pins. You have to press on a retainer clip.

Thanks for the wiring diagram, I think I figured it out:

The PAS logo appears on the display:

But:
*once the PAS is connected, the throttle doesn't work anymore (normal?)
*the motor isn't spinning

I wonder if some settings in the LCD are at fault. Does PAS need to be activated?

Sorry for the noob questions, I've always run on throttle until now

I have exactly the same issue. Controller PAS connector has black, brown, yellow wires and PAS sensor connector has black, red, green.
I first connected as docw009 suggested, motor is not spinning. I tried other wire orders, system shuts down when I start to pedal.

The PAS sensor works with my previous KU 65 controller.

I used a multimeter to test the PAS connector from the controller, here is what I get:
- between black and brown: 4.4V
- between black and yellow: 5.05V
- between brown and yellow: 0.65V

Can we deduce that +5V is actually yellow in my case?

Are the other values alright?

@drebikes: I can't see any PAS symbol on your display, only the brake symbol.

You can look at the schematic and OpenSource firmware, we know everything about S06S -- see for yourself in our project page -- see my signature.
