how to seal hub motor for ferrofluid ?

I have seen so many ideas how to seal hub motor for ferrofluid

what is working best for You?

As far as I can tell, you don't need to. It won't leak out, it's stuck to the magnets.

Doesn't hurt to put a thin bead of liquid gasket, from the auto shop, around the mating surfaces of the motor cover before you put it back on.
