I've googled and did a forum search but did not find a definitive answer to whether an Exponential throttle curve is possible using phaserunner + CA3.
In a nutshell, I hope to have a standard Wuxing thumb throttle, function the same way as the EXPO in an RC controller does:
- Fine adjustments when im pressing 0-50% of the thumb throttle
- Full 100% throttle when i press the 100% of the thumb throttle
This will allow me to control acceleration with precision at zero to slow speeds, but also get max acceleration (if needed) by applying full throttle. Right now, a slight press of my thumb can jerk my bike terribly. I don't want to lose the ability to get FULL torque, but just want more control when in the 0-50% range.
Some questions:
1. I know CA has throttle ramping, but I don't see anywhere where you can customize the throttle curve.
2. Does Phaserunner itself allow customizing of the throttle curve? Read the manual about the part on throttle map, but didn't see any way to customize the curve.
3. What would be the simplest way for me to achieve the objective of an Expo thumb throttle?
