damn that thing is gorgeous. Anything I bring will inevitably be slow... That is until I get the 2 speed transmission and the Perm mounting on something...

P.S. I think I'm all by myself. If you're down to pick me up, I'm probably in.

Thanks for the invite! I just looked at the travel time on google maps... 3 hours.so anything would be good to just cut the time in half.
I can not go anyway, I do not have the money or the free time to travel down there. And with my average bike that tops out at 40mph it wont be worth my while to go, knowing that I wont stand a chance.

fun thing seems to always be hanging out. not sure what can compete against thud's bully. you never know tho. troy may be racing a 200lb cargo bike, right? would kill us all if we had to race 200 laps.

If your going to show up...may as well bring the bike....or regret not briniging it foever LOL!

My Bully is O-1 in competition....so going fast isn't half of racing anyway....its about fun & not banging yourself up too bad having that fun.

I am sure there is a nominal "gate fee" in addition to the racers fee's.....thats right a sign up too race & a gate fee to watch yourself do it!

Either way..the more the merrier . Just showing up is a good time & you can learn a lot....the pits are open & everyone will be having a good time for the most part...(anyone with a blown engine or crash damage may not be all smiles but everyne knows: Thats Racing.

I am driving all day friday (picking up grindz145 along the way) to get there & it doesn't look like camping is allowed at the race track....need to find a flop house near the track....you get a chance to search around yet G?
get some......

Totally, it's all in fun. It's a very short windy track, so who cares? I'll probably switch out my large pack for my 350wh nanotech pack just for good measure. But it's still slow. Maxes out at like 35.

I'll tell you one thing, up here in northern New Jersey, it looked like a perfect day for racing bikes. Sorry I couldn't make it, I was scheduled for work on Saturday.

I found 1 post about the event on the motored bike forum......another no-show event.
looks like lance(promoter) & one or 2 bikes showed up to ride the track....not enough to make a race.
slowbait fell some where on the track....banged up a shoulder....hurts more the day after as allways.

sad to see such a low turn out, but a holiday weekend for guys not totaly imersed the raceing lifestyle is a streach.

I hope to be getting more powerful setup over the winter. It works right now over the summer, but I want a bigger motor and i need a bigger controller to satisfy it  . So hopefully by this time next year I will have a road/ race track warrior. The reason for waiting a year is because I just spent southport on it, and everything works (now anyways). I dont want to spend time over the summer troubleshooting when I can be out riding.

If there is another race event before class starts I'd go just to spectate and have a good time with some good people :D

Sorry you had such a low turnout. Tough economic times, gas prices, and the event on a holiday, probably contributed towards the low turnout. I hope you have the determination to keep holding this event. Nascar started with some humble beginnings before it was called nascar. I appreciate that you are providing fun and events on the eastern side of United States. Way to go please keep it up DLB!
