Consider the Railway Reserve Heritage Trail is a pretty smooth 40km Midvale to Mundaring circuit, and you can stop in Mt Helena Tavern for a break? The return half is mostly downhill so if you run out of juice it's not too hard to pedal.

I have a idea we could do the perth river ride go to lucky shag and grab a charge then go a little further or pick a new route

I'm currently free Saturday if that works for everyone ( busy with family easter sunday). Looking forward to installing my new sine controller before the ride. Fingers crossed it works first time.
