Hey everyone!

Australia's own electric superbikes are back for 2015! This year we're looking forward to the following:

1. Six rounds instead of four
2. Three races a day on Saturday and Sunday*
3. Reduced entry fees!*

* not confirmed, but if they don't I'll cry.

Round one starts at Mallala Raceway, Mallala, 60 km north of Adelaide. Practice is on Friday the 15th of May, racing on Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th. None of the electric bikes have gone to Mallala yet, so it's an even race for all.

Danny "Pottz" Pottage will be back defending his championship on-board the Voltron Evo machine, while the Varley team have been busy sorting their bikes for 2015. Ripperton will be back with his trusty steed, complete with a quieter, and hopefully more efficient dual motor arrangement. David is on track to bring his modified Zero along too! We live in hope that Elmofo will sign up the Brammo TTX again, and that Jon can get the hub-motored Catavolt machine back on track this year too.

Now, us sandgropers are looking for some accommodation while we're in Adelaide, so if anyone in the region can offer up a bit of floor space to three awesome electric motorbike guys, we'll return the favour with beer and shenanigans. Transport would be great too, as it would save us the expense of hiring a car. Yeah, we're broke

Hope to see some Heaps Good Adelaide action soon!

Congratulations on your team's 2014 eFXC title victory, Dr. Jones :D

Best wishes for another successful season!

I wonder if Casey Stoner might have a few spare Aussie Flag-inspired #1 stickers from 2011 he would be willing to slap on your machine(?)

..'cause that would be AWESOME for so many reasons..

Bump!

The electric bikes will be racing this weekend! Friday is your best day to watch as much track time as possible, as we have 5 practice sessions and a qualifying session. Saturday morning's race will be on at 9.30 am, so get in early. Alternatively show up around midday and hang around for the afternoon race - last one of the day usually. Same again for Sunday.

See you all at Mallala!

Great weekend of racing at Mallala - Pottz pulled 4 wins from 4, but Jason Morris certainly kept him honest with a more reliable Varley machine. The Kink is a 180 km/h knee-down corner, ending in one of Australia's tightest right-handers. Pulling the big girl up from 210 km/h down to about 40 km/h takes some effort.
