15KW capable? for how long......
we should have ours in a month....

the clock is running......2- motors are already in hands of board members....still haven't even seen one on anything other than Coles race car....Just spinning a prop on a bench would be a confidence boost.

We just contacted astro directly and asked if we could order the motor.

It going to be a custom order with the custom order price. But we are going to rebuild it to water cooled to get more performance out of the motor.

I've attached a photo of the current state of the Astros development.

Racecar is a school project for the formula student electric competition. Controller will be either a custom controller based on the hybridpack 2 of infineon or a sevcon gen 4 size 8

Great choices, maybe include the Tritium wavesculptor 200 as well. Good price point on it at least compared to the sevcon. Really excited to see your project running. Please share it with us all

Yea ive been working with a tritium for about a year now. It wont do.more than ~120kW unless u.have a battery that has very very low sag. The controller is pretty sweet thou with plenty of features and very nice software which they are continuing to improve. Would be fun to run two of these 4in astros off of one...
