Anybody heard of it/tried it?

I like the "no secondary chain" setup like bafang. Just wonder how much noise it will make.
Looks better on a bike with curved downtube, then the downward facing bafang models.

63mm diameter RC outrunner, belted enclosed primary drive, exposed gear-set to connect it to the BB. Should be very light, and easy to meet European 250W power limits.

If you add a temperature probe to the stator baseplate, it should be capable of 22V X 50A= 1100W peaks

From their site and the review, it seems more like 1500w - 2500w - 4000/6000w ish...
Would be nice to know what kind of primary reduction they use. How can they get enough reduction with a belt and such small sprockets?

If it is a quality planetary gear with the right reduction, and the secondary gear cogs doesn't make too much noise, I think this is a sweet setup.
I like the bafang style secondary reduction without chain, so you don't get that twisting action on the mid-drive.
On my LR kit, I needed a torque strut, an it still flexed under power.

On modern MTB's and enduro/AM bikes, almost all new bikes has this curved downtube, making it hard to fit a mid-drive.
This mid-drive seems to solve that problem..

It is an interesting design to get very light and small mid drive with very big power output but someone knows if it has a planetary gearbox after primary belt drive?

I mean i count this tooth ratios:
48:14
35:14

if there are no planetary gearbox between this then total gear ratio is only 1:8.5
with pedalier at 90RPM the motor is only at 771rpm, not too much because this motor can rev at 22000rpm or so

I think this kit have a scorpion HK5035

Peak Power - 6650 Watts (5 seconds)
Max Continuous Power - 4800 Watts
Weight - 744 Grams (26.23 oz)
