Hi Endless Sphere,
First post here although I've been lurking for a little while
I'm looking to get into an electric bike kit. After doing my research it seems like the Sunstar SO3+ or a TSDZ2 would be the best suit my needs. They both have torque sensors, and this really is the way I'd prefer to control the bike. Since some of you seem to have either of these kits, would you mind recommending suppliers you have had good experiences with? I live in the US, so I'm guessing I'll have to ship something from overseas. It would be good no know I'm dealing with a decent person on the other end.
I am mainly concerned with the mechanical parts and controllers. Shipping batteries overseas seems to be a pain, so I would be OK buying my own from what is available in the US.
If one is the kits is vastly superior in build quality, I'd rather spend a little more dime on it. The finish quality on the sunstar kit seems better, am I correct in thinking this?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Once I'm up and running, I look forward to start contributing to the knowledge found here.
