I know previous versions of this haven't worked so great, but this one is new to me. Sounds pretty good from some of the reviews, some say they prefer it to the CC HV 110 and CC Hydra 125.

I have not run one. But, I have heard they work in E-bike use. However, that is merely 3rd party comments.

The issue with ESCs is not only their rated output, but their software as well. Back EMF is a complicated method to program around for startup and remaining in sync. That is why the HV110 is normally used in these applications. They stay in sync, startup well, and handle decent power levels for prolonged periods.

The larger Jeti ESCs work OK too. However, they are just as expensive as the Castle controllers.
