BBSHD Dimension Question

I am considering putting a Bafang BBSHD on a cargo bike, but the installation is complicated by the fact that the area below the bottom bracket is effectively a straight tube. Can anyone tell me how thick the frame can be from the inner edge of the bottom bracket shell to the outside of the frame?
