What kind of rims on a Blade?

I've got no idea what a blade is, so no help there. a refrence or link might help.
And without knowing what kind of bike you're building, its hard to advise on wheels. if its any help, I'm building up a Dyad 29 inch Down hill racing wheel with a 32 spoke Shimano hub. it should be more than strong enough for my bike.

Check into " Freeride " rims, some stupidly strong stuff is available out there ( not cheap.. but as with everything.. ) lacing a hub motor or using a normal hub ?

I am fairly sure that the blade runs 24" wheels, the tip to look at downhill rims is spot on, they will be solid as they are able to take a right kicking from downhillers by default - check out mavic rims or halo and the like.
if your really going to give it a bashing i would probably use a motorcycle rim - this will make it easier to get thicker spokes too?
