Less wires yep, but you will use more power as you are converting from electric to mechanical to move the bike, then the dynamo is converting from mechanical back to electric to power the lights.
Extra conversion = wasted power.

This seems to be a great invention for the regular human powered bike. I would rather save that energy to power my bike a bit more and deal with flashlights. : ) If I had the money, I would back them up!

Really strong product.
Because it's friction free, we should be able to mount 10 magnet light in the bike wheel to charge our batteries and have unlimitted bike range :lol:
