Cell Man Contact?

Postby cbr shadow » Wed Mar 28, 2012 1:14 pm

How does everyone here contact Cellman? I have some questions for him about his products and tried messaging him through his website a few days ago but didn't get a response so I tried his hotmail yesterday morning. Am I just being impatient or is there a better way to get in contact with him?

Hi

I´ve just ordered from him. Its usually takes 3-4 days, just have patience and he will respond when he has the time.

He´s worth waiting for

He is really busy from what I hear, but always replies. If it's been a month, it wouldn't hurt to try again, sometimes emails slip by people.

Justin from ebikes.ca did state recently he was going to meet him so maybe he's been busy hanging with our savior ?

cell man has always been good to me I can attest to that.

cell_man is an honest retailer. Well worth a look.

3-4 days is usually how long it took for him to reply to me. But if you are lucky enough to be online when he replies you might get a quick answer from him if you fire off another question. If he hasnt replied in 2 weeks maybe you should try emailing him again.

while it's nice to hear a retailer is possibly good to work with, cellman is useless if you get no contact in a few days
A few weeks?
You're kidding me
I personally gave up the cellman quest after a week or so.
There are other, just as capable and trustworthy vendors.

Yeah it has been almost a week now and I dont want to wait on Cellman any longer if I dont need to. If a single response to my questions takes more than a week how long will it be to get 2-3 more emails through and ordering, processing and shipping?!
So what are some other reputable A123 pack sellers? Do they also offer kits like cell man does? Links to websites would be great!
Thanks,
Ryan

too little thins keep me from being able to help your quest
#1 -location location location (yours)
#2 - I'm using r/c LiPo batteries, therefor haven't needed to search for A123 batteries. So even if I knew which country you lived in I couldn't help (not much use, am I?) :)

Thanks for all the help! ;)

I've been trying to contact Cell Man with a few emails in the last week but no luck. He gets such good reviews and I like the "triangle pack" that would fit well in a DF mountain bike, but no luck getting a response. Any others sell something similar?

LOL
again I can't help as I 'build my own' and it's definately not triangular in shape (building a tricycle)

I suggest you start a different thread asking for that specific battery and case

cheers!

Paul (Cell_Man) is a victim of his own success. He is typically very busy and gets many emails and pm's. Emailing him at emissions-free_worldwide@hotmail.com is definitely the best way. Sometimes he does miss messages but if you follow up he'll usually get back to you ok.

If you send nasty/rude etc emails bagging him out for not getting back to you then don't expect a response- I know that we all expect people to get back to us within half a nanosecond of sending an email but he is pretty much a one man show. He does have good procucts and I've heard good reports about his batteries.

There are other places to get batteries and group buys seem to be reasonably regular if a little risky at times. TBH, I don't know who else I'd go to for a built battery pack- I have a home made laptop lithium pack and the next one will either be a Hobbyking lipo pack or Cellman A123.

imho Paul should go beyond a 'one man operation'
acquire an employee or 2, perhaps...

victims of their own making is all.

I just ordered some stuff off Paul lastweek and he did mention that he'd been flatout busy and was struggling to reply to emails (he would recieve a ton of mail).

I'd suggest trying him again through his website.

I bought a motor and battery from Paul recently and all I have no complaints, generally he's taken 2-3 days to reply, but the motor and battery he supplied seem to be doing the job nicely. If only I could come up with a mounting arrangement I'm happy with...

Cell_man DID get back to me with a quote. He's overwhelmed sometimes, and asked why I hadn't sent a second query, but knowing he's under the pile, I didn't want to pile-on...
