I'm working on my second ebike build and I designed an abs dyi enclosure for the triangle of this bike. This enclosure is made out of 3/16" thick abs sheets. It mounts using the water bottle bolts and it has a built in fuse holder. Made by laser cutting this enclosure fits pretty well the frame. My plan is to fit some lipos in it or some other cell type. We'll see just wanted to show u the progress.

I welcome your feedback...

Beware using the bottle mounts as the main source of securing. You do not want many pounds tugging and jerking at those. A frame failure due to that would really suck.

Check the hardware store for some u-bolts. They may do the job.

Yeah I thought about that but... the box seems really rigid and I'm gonna add two plates.top/bottom to aid with the support. I'm putting just 3 8s lipos in there and this is going to be my new commuting bike.... this is not the end result yet. Stay tuned.

Been utilizing water bottle holes for years without any failures. YMMV of course. I do replace the bolts with stainless ones though.

You triangle pack looks a hell of a lot better than my water bottle/wood/duct tape one that I just finished last night. Nice work! Someday I hope to upgrade to a more custom made solution like yours. For now... I'll just ride!
