multiple lipo charging

hi

i have a turnegy charger that charges over jst connector only. is it possiple and safe to charge lipos in parralel over some kind of board, if i balance them some times? other options?
i have 5 4s lipos

You can connect the charge cables to the first and last balance cables to charge ( as long as its not too many amps). As it's ADC (floating DC voltage) with reference to the battery.

I used a parallel splitter and yanked out the middle pins for my lipo charger for testing.

The easy commuter option is to use a BMS... 1 plug and go. For $50 it saves you a few hours per charge which is worth it.

But yes... charging via balance cables is fine.

how do you know that this turnigy charger charges through the sense wires? i think the BC 168 is the only charger that does that which is why it can cause fires when charging lipo packs that are unbalanced.

How about a link to the charger you have? Or model number, Or picture. I'm not sure what charger you have.
