Curious to know more about torque sensor options. In Australia we have a 250W max limit with PAS and I keep reading reports on how nice the Bosch powered bikes are to ride with their torque sensing capabilities compared to the more common offering of cadence sensors on PAS bikes.

I have been looking at the BEAMts as a solution for the Bafang 8fun crank drive motor and the bottom bracket sensor for hub motors. Neither are particularly cheap so are they worth it?

Would love to hear peoples thoughts and experiences.

I don't think there's a commonly available torque sensor available for the Bafang mid drive. The BeamTS is not suitable, because it would measure the torque being applied by the motor, and not just your legs.

Two years later - has anybody tried out the BMSbatteries Bottom Bracket Torque Sensor System?
